Video Locally and through streaming are distorted

I just installed Boxee on my iMac after running it on my Apple TV with no complaints for about two months. When I load Boxee on my iMac to play any type of video, each video plays distorted and out of color. Audio appears to fine. Can't find the proper setting to rectify the problem. Any ideas?:confused:
