Ubuntu <-> Kubuntu

maybee a stupid question.
i see that the linux boxee users use Ubuntu.
is there a diference using boxee on Kubuntu.
i as linux distro prefer Kubuntu because like KDE more then Gnome.
(actualy i prefer Debian above those 2 but is not suported by boxee?)

reason for this question:
i'm planing on installing linux native now (not in vmawe as iboxee doesn't run in that) and i was wondering if i should install Kubuntu or Ubuntu.

obviously this is down to your own preferences, however we have tested it on Ubuntu (so this is what we recommend):)

I use boxee on Kubuntu and it works perfectly fine considering it's in alpha stage.
