This just started happening yesterday. Whenever I add a Movie / TV Show to my personal collection the title shows up twice in my list and the first one always links to Terminator3 (which is one of the video's in my collection) the second one in the list points to the correct file.

Any ideas? I have not made any changes in my settings to make this happen.

hi RobertBasil
Is it just happening to certain files or one specific file. Did you move this file(s) from one location to another.

It is happening to all new files I add to the folder that Boxee scans. Just started happening the other day. All of my video files are on an external HDD that I set Boxee to always scan. I don't have any video files on the Mini's HDD.

I'll dig more into it tonight when I am home, didn't get a chance to play with Boxee last night as it was Heroes night. :)

Well,

When I got home last night I turned on the TV to find out Boxee had stopped responding. After a force quit and restart I checked my library and now there are no more duplicates. Weird...

After a re-boot for some upgrades last night it's back again. Didn't have a lot of time to dig into it, I'll dig around tonight when I get home.

I'm having a similar problem with mp3 albums with several discs. So, if I have

1. song 1 - disc 1/2
2. song 2 - disc 1/2
1. song 3 - disc 2/2
2. song 4 - disc 2/2

it will be shown as

1. song 1
2. song 1
1. song 3
2. song 3

Weird, isn't it? ;-)

@inercia did this always happen or has just started lately..do you have the songs on multiple sources?

Well,

After looking further into my problem last night it seems that when I add new video's now they do not show duplicates. But the 3 or 4 videos that originally had the problem are still showing as a duplicates in my library. Is there any way to rebuild the library without having to delete and re-add the media source?

Marcel, I have noticed this lately, but I don't know if it happened with previous versions of Boxee. All my mp3 albums are in one source but, as long as they have several discs, first song from both discs will appear with the same name.

I have also noticed that, when playing a disc, I usually leave the tracks list, but the "green" highlight for current playing song is not properly updated (except if I change the current song). If I don't do anything, it will stay at the first track during the playback...

Hi RobertBasil

In future versions we will have a button which will allow you to re-index the library ,currently you can do it manually by renaming under (instead of deleting just in case you need later)..~/LibraryApplication Support/BOXEE/UserData/profiles/<username> the Database and Thumbnails directory to temp files..
