Hi All.
(this was tagged onto another thread in appletv, but the error is not on an appletv, so I thought it was probably best to re-post... sorry for the double up)
Been only using boxee for a few days now on mac mini. All started fine,
movies added, worked as expected....
Now im getting;
"Last FM Unable to handshake : sleeping" error on startup. Tried removing Last.FM from sources.xml, still trying to handshake...
only thing additional that has been added is "scene releases" which i cant get to do anything apart from sho up as an icon in movies/internet. if i click on it, nothing happens.
Now I cant seem to add any more movies or music.
tried deleting library...
tried deleting sources then re adding them...
When I hit "a" to open up library status, even though i just added a source in the Now scanning it says "finished, going to sleep for 180000 milliseconds. (can you force a scan?) screen grab attached. I have about 20 movies in the media/film directory not being scanned?
Another note on this... I had a small handfull of movies that did scan (prior to issue above) but in the same folder i had a bunch of other movies that didnt. The only difference i could see was an "extended attribute" tied into the file. if I look under unix the permission for the scanned files are +rwxrwxrwx but the non scanned ones are +rwxrwxrwx@ any ideas how to clear the @ (extra attribute)
on os X 10.5.4 mac mini
running latest build (0.9.8.4880)
Any advice?
BTW. Im so bloody excited by this product, Can wait for more updates... I know its going to be a cracker!!
Great job!!
