Hey guys,

great work on Boxee!

Let me explain my scenario, I've got a Mac Mini hooked up to my TV, but am using an external hard drive for music and movies. The media I've got on the Mac is being indexed but the external drive isn't.

Also, sometimes when I select a video the menu still lays over the video playing in the background. I have to go to the root of the menu to come out of the menu to watch the video.

Cheers guys

hi robb1e

Welcome to boxee...

There are several ways to add your external source but the easiest is :
From the home screen select "Settings"
go to "Media Sources"
choose "Local Sources" and then "Add New Source".
browse till you find appropriate HD or content.
Select the "content or HD" and then click "Add Source".
Enter the Source Name (e.g local HD)
Select the source type e.g Videos.
Click the "Add" button.

After adding the HD as a source it will automatically be scanned and the items will be retrieved.
You will then see the appropriate media content in the relevant sections Videos /My sources,Music/My Sources etc...

can you pm a screenshot of the video and menu issue..:)

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll give that a try. I'll post that menu thing when it occurs again.

Cheers
