I'm running Kubuntu 8.04 x86
An issue I have found thus far is:
When I go into the rtorrent "Download" section (and was copying video files at the same time), I could not exit the screen. Pressing ESC wouldn't do anything, I had to exit and go back into boxee. It's only happened once, haven't tried to duplicate it yet.

Hi NuclearPeon
it would be great if you could reproduce this ...when you are in the download screen as you know esc button should take you to the main screen you can also try the backspace button or you could press "A" to bring up the side menu and navigate to another screen..
cheers :)

Thanks for the reply.
I was hammering on the esc key and pretty sure I tried using the backspace. The result was nothing, but it could be that all my computer cores were being used, as I was transferring data and using firefox was painfully slow. I'll attempt this again when I get home.

Yeah so I attempted it again and the same thing happened.
I was copying ~25 gigs onto the computer I use strictly for Boxee.
Went to the Downloads section where the torrents are, pressed ESC, BACKSPACE, SPACE, and a few other keys. Oddly enough, the A key is the only one that worked. I could access the side menu and get out of it.
Once the files were transferred, I tried again to ESC out of the downloads section. Didnt work either. I concluded that transferring the files were unrelated and that the Downloads section just didn't recognize the ESC key properly. I can ESC out of other screens no problem.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I've found that if the network is busy (copying files from one computer to another, using another computer to download torrents, etc) that Boxee is rather unresponsive. This includes verifying videos/music/etc. as well as keystrokes/remote key presses.
Sad, but something that can be worked around. I just don't do anything on the network when Boxee is running. (kids/wife browsing is ok).
