Change Default folder in "my videos" how ?

i've spent some time looking in to this great app,
but can't figure out how to change the default folder in my videos, i want to change it to a network hd, with all my stuff on.

Welcome to boxee...

There are several ways to add your external source but the easiest is :
From the home screen select "Settings"
go to "Media Sources"
choose "Local Sources" and then "Add New Source".
browse till you find appropriate HD or content.
Select the "content or HD" and then click "Add Source".
Enter the Source Name (e.g local HD)
Select the source type e.g Videos.
Click the "Add" button.

After adding the HD as a source it will automatically be scanned and the items will be retrieved.
You will then see the appropriate media content in the relevant sections Videos /My sources,Music/My Sources etc...

Boxee has the defaults preset as ~/Movies, ~/Pictures and ~/Music under your login user name within OS-X. You can add another source which boxee will ALWAYS monitor. This can be a folder on your HDD, a USB drive, or a network share.

Just add it under sources as mentioned above. When you dump a new file within, boxee will add the rich meta data, artwork, etc within the UI.

This works on Ubuntu the same as OS-X. The UI is the same no matter which OS you run.

can you explain exactly what you want to?what is your default folder? Do you see your external HD?

Maybe it's because I'm not much of a mac person, but I'm having similar issues - I have an Iomega drive attached to my mac mini, it shows up in "Devices" as "Media", how do I add that as a source?
