Automatic Region Setting for DVD RPC1 only

Hi, it would be great to be able to have auto regional coding setting for dvd, i have a selection of region 2 and region 1 discs and currently use a program for switching region manually dvd region x. Of course you would need an RPC1 (region free drive, but i have one of those) but is this possible?

FYI; this feature been available in XBMC for quite a while so should not be hard to implement by Team Boxee
