I have recently begun using Boxee on several of my VMC media pc's running Vista. Overall I have good experiences except when it comes to adding shares. I have had difficulty getting Boxee to see my shares when I try and add them. It often winds up in a non responsive mode with the spinner on the display. Before you ask yes I have set the network properties up. In fact Boxee can browse and play from these same shares I wish to add.
I do have 1 machine I succeeded in adding shares but the several other VMC systems I use have not been successful. http://forum.boxee.tv/images/smilies/mad.gif
