Firstly, Boxee is awesome... can't praise it enough.
Anyway, I'm probably being stupid here but, when on BBC iPlayer, I can't get past the "Click to Play" sign - mainly because I can't seem to click on it...
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
James

Hitting enter on the keyboard works for me, clicking with the mouse does nothing.

If you're not in the UK I'm fairly certain that DRM makes it so you cannot watch BBC video content. I've heard similar from them through regarding American TV content in Boxee. There's other threads about this too. Correct me if I am wrong. :)

Okay maybe they just don't want to show Americans then if you're not in the UK. :(

Is that the case? BBC content won't be available to US?
That sucks...

in the uk they can't watch:
hulu, cbs, abc, netflix, comedy central, the wb... and most of joost and mtv.
plus, they pay taxes to watch the bbc.

I'm not saying I don't believe it or can't understand it, it just makes this a less viable alternative for me personally.

errr... boxee isn't the one saying you can't watch iplayer, the british broadcasting corporation is.
if the limitations and laws of a foreign country make a make a a software product 'less viable' i would also recommend against using a web browser... sure, you can get to hulu in firefox, but you still can't get to the iplayer. ;)

People...people, I'm looking for an alternative to cable television and I want something like Boxee to be it. I want Boxee to be it!
Don't jump me just because I'm annoyed at all the restrictions that clearly is not the fault of Boxee. I understand that. Some day all the networks around the world will get it. Maybe...
Sorry I didn't make myself clear.
You guys are touchy...

just to clear things up... i live in the UK - so, yes, am able to play iplayer videos legally.
to solve the problem, press '\' to get out of fullscreen and the flash video will be in the top left hand corner, just click play and fullscreen boxee.
Also, this also fixes it for me so in the end, i only had to do that once and they automatically played from then on...
hope that helps..
oh, and boxee, please create a plugin for http://www.tvcatchup.com/ and also the itv player - it would make boxee even better than it is already!
