I just got the Boxee Alpha today, and it seems pretty solid as far as the UI.

There are a few glitches that I've noticed, nothing major.

The first is the pause button in hulu, but it seems this has been addressed.

Second, unless I am missing something, it doesn't seem that there is a way to set boxee to run on my HDTV instead of my laptop screen... (If I'm wrong, could ya please provide a link? I'm a little tired right now)

Also there doesn't seem to be a way to switch between HD and a normal def on Hulu... Unless I'm crazy...

But the main thing I did notice is the video skips every second in hulu.
I can't figure out why. It skips like one frame per second.

Any ideas?

this is a very widely reported bug... should be fixed in a future build.

could you elaborate oh exactly what boxee isn't doing? also, xp or vista?

I have an HDTV that plugs into the HDMI port on my laptop. I run the tv as an extended desktop but I can't get boxee to run full screen on that tv. I use vista.

Oh and I knew about the pause.

And no, it's not my laptop. I have a Core 2 Duo at 2.13 ghz per core, 4 gigs of ddr2-800 ram, and Nvidia 9200-m GS w/ 256mb ram.

The only thing it could be is vista ultimate... but that is highly unlikely. I can run hulu in the full screen mode on HD in 1920x1080 with no lag... Just in Boxee (which is 1280x800) it skips...
