I don't know if this is possible I haven't been able to find anywhere in the settings to make this work but here is what I'm looking for.

The way I have my media sorted is by folder, here is an example

DVD/Movies/Alien Trilogy/all the alien movie files

Is there a way in boxee for it to show just the folder and not list out all the movies found with in these sub folders?

Also for things like TV Shows I have the following:

TV/Seinfeld/Season 1, Season 2, etc

I'd like to keep the folder structures in place and not go into the TV folder and see every single video file listed from every single subfolder.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks!
Jeff

For movies, I don't think this is an option.

For TV shows, Boxee should (by default) be set to show seasons. I know mine did. When I select a TV show, I have to select a season to select any individual shows. This can be set irrespective of what your actual file / folder structure is.

You need to add your source as "private" to make sure Boxee doesn't automatically scan and add the contents to your "library". Once this is done, you can go to the Video->Browse menu and browse your folders.

Cheers!
