Hey all
I'm not much of a tech head. Just wondering if it is possible to send files through the network to be saved on the USB external HDD connected to Boxee? I currently have a 1.5T WD MyBook connected directly via USB to Boxee, and would like to add to it occasionally without having to physically unplug it. Is this possible?

Yes that's possible through SMB sharing, make sure you check Windows file sharing under settings > network > servers . Then you will be able to find a share named Boxeebox under your network. It would be great to use it if you want to transfer small size files, as transfer rates are very slow about 500kb/s. Large size file transfer to HDD may freeze your BB as well.
