How do I add sources

Sry for asking but I don't know much about Linux.
What do i have to put in if i want to add a scource which is on one of my hard drives and it isn't in my linux files.

Welcome to boxee...

There are several ways to add your external source but the easiest is :
From the home screen select "Settings"
go to "Media Sources"
choose "Local Sources" and then "Add New Source".
browse till you find appropriate HD or content.
Select the "content or HD" and then click "Add Source".
Enter the Source Name (e.g local HD)
Select the source type e.g Videos.
Click the "Add" button.

After adding the HD as a source it will automatically be scanned and the items will be retrieved.
You will then see the appropriate media content in the relevant sections Videos /My sources,Music/My Sources etc...
