Great job Boxee Team!

So I just fired up Boxee on my HTPC after my morning of building it from source--and I'm duly impressed! I want say "hats off" to the team for really taking the XBMC code to the next level. I've now run Boxee on ATV, Mac, and Windows and its been great under every environment.

I can't wait to see what's coming (*cough* Netflix for windows *cough*) :D

Indeed. I totally agree and am really impressed with what I've seen so far. I have been a die hard XBMC fan running on linux for the past 2 years but am now in the process of converting my HTPC to windows (in hopes of getting netflix support before the projected end of 2009 for linux) to continue running/testing this alpha. The interface and built in streaming support blow away anything thats been offered up by the XBMC community. I also really enjoy the social aspect. I am glad that I finally got it running tho and wont be force to attempt an OSx86 install :rolleyes:

The only reason I'm using Windows is to get Blu Ray support. If Linux could play Blu Ray discs, I'd get Ubuntu up and running on the HTPC in a heartbeat.

That said, I'm surviving with XP for now. And now that I have Boxee I'm quite pleased. :)
