Make sure you are running both the latest video drivers for your card and the latest directx. Also make sure that Boxee is running at a resolution that your video card will support.

ok i was able to get a screen shot, the boxee screen shot way doesnt work, so i found out i could do it the windows way alt-ctrl-prnt scrn so what your looking at is see the square at the bottom the where my mouse pointer is and right now its showing part of my wallpaper, it seems to show the part of where ever the pointer was of its image, also when it do that or not doing it the mouse pinter always will be blinking like a cursor, what gives? heres the image:

yeah to me finding out the issue, it was the ati remote wonder software causing the issue, which now is another issue because i use that remote..fuck!

I have the exact same issue & i am using Remote wounder plus. i was really hoping to use this due to the mouse function... i also have a firefly mini but i dont have time to do much for reprogramming, i need it to plug in & work! this is a HTPC hooked up to t.v. so i have little time with the ability to use it & need major up time

Has anything made any progress with this issue? I just busted out my trusty remote wonder last night as my HTPC is now in the closet and I'm running into the same thing.

I may try a product such as Girder to see if I can work around this issue.

Thanks!

I have the same problem and the mouse acceleration in the Remote Wonder software seems to be the problem. When it is set to no acceleration the problem was completely gone for me but the mouse pointer was almost impossible to use, but I don't use the mouse pointer in Boxee so it works for me. I haven't tested with different settings so playing a little might help minimize the problem.
