Boxee won't launch

I have tried launching by double-clicking the .app from the applications folder as well as by launching with the Terminal. In the terminal I get the following:
LSOpenFromURLSpec() failed with error -10661 for the file /Applications/Boxee.app

What happens when I launch either way is nothing. No bouncing icon in the Dock, just nothing.

please try running /Applications/Boxee.app/Contents/MacOS/Boxee.

are you getting anything in Console?

what version of osx are you using, and which version of boxee? please try using http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=403 if you're not already.

I get the following in a new Terminal window when I run the file in the contents:

And the following is what I get in the Console:

sorry but boxee only works for intel based macs...:(
