Hey. Loving boxee so far. As far as videos go I haven't had any issues, all of my files (all kinds of formats) are playing without any problems. All of my MP3s work great as well. However, all of my FLACs don't seem to play at all. These are files that don't have any issues in VLC or Cog but when I select the file and the Play/Recognize dialogue opens and then press the play button, the dialogue box disappears and nothing happens. Any idea why these files won't play? They are standard FLACs that, like I said, don't seem to have any issues elsewhere.

Here is a sample file: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GG8SHIWU

At first I thought it was because it's a remote hadrdrive (my time capsule hooked to my computer via ethernet), but even when I copied the file locally this happened. Any thoughts?

EDIT: I'm on Leopard 10.5.4

hi wmgaretjax

i had no problem playing the example you sent, boxee supports flac files, are you using the latest version (http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=403).

Please try and run the flac files and then pm the debug logs (http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=377)

I realized that I might not have installed the FLAC binaries on my new desktop (which I though might be an issue). So I installed them and now it crashes anytime I try and play a FLAC. I sent you a PM with that bit of the log.

It does appear that I do not have the latest version, I'll give that a spin (the update did not seem to do anything, still crashes when I attempt to play a FLAC).

Hi wmgaretjax

Lets start from scratch ,remove boxee (boxee.app (http://forum.boxee.tv/showpost.php?p=1403&postcount=2) and profile (http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=46)) ,i will look over the log files.:)

When ever boxee crashes, forward us the crash report by selecting the "Report" button.
