The new key combo to toggle full screen mode makes a lot of sense since it is a Mac standard, but there is a new problem I am encountering due to it.
For whatever strange reason, Boxee does not always register when I press the CMD key. So instead of toggling to window mode (I do this from time to time to check for new mail) it does what is meant to happen when pressing only F, namely changing playback speed. So I have to press F exactly 5 more times to get it back to normal speed and then skip back to where I was watching. Boxee is not the most stable when skipping backwards (maybe because my files are on a network share), so this is often a fussy issue. As far as I can tell, my keyboard is absolutely fine, since this doesn't happen to me in any other app.
This has happened to me at least 4 times today. Is there anything I can do to avoid this happening again? Can I deactivate or change certain key combos, or deactivate speed changing altogether? Perhaps the Boxee dev team could move speed to a different key? Anything to remedy this would be excellent. Would be nice to hear if anyone else is experiencing this issue, as well. Best regards.
