Question about apps

I'm a very new boxee user. I see a lot of talk about apps, but I can't find them on my homepage. What am I doing wrong?

For the Boxee Box, you click on Apps on the Home Screen.

For the Boxee software on a computer, you click on Apps on the Home Screen.

Also, I just figured out that apps don't exist on the iPad.

There are specific sections for the various platforms (iPad, Windows, Boxee Box). It's really helpful if you post to the correct one :) :)
