iPad app looses connection to media manager

The iPad app continually looses connection to the media manger. I can get it to work and stream a movie no problem, but if I stop the movie, close the iPad, and come back later I get the email download link screen. I can get it to work by restarting the mm, but obviously shouldn't have to. Any ideas?

It seems to kill my windows media server as well. There might be a conflict between the two.
