I would like to report that when you correct a file's name in the finder (os x) it will still show up as the old one as well in the library.
Example:
I had a couple quantum leap episodes. Not named correctly.
After the first scan Boxee labeled them as "quantum leap' but with no episode info or recognized as a tv series. So I renamed the files correctly. After a while Boxee found them and listed them correctly. Problem is that the original wrong entry is still in the library and of course won't play because the original file has been renamed thus does not exist anymore.
When correcting a movie in Boxee and not renaming it in the finder will correct the movie and will also remove the worg entry.
It looks like Boxee does not delete entries from it's database even when the original file does not exist.
Or didn't I wait long enough?
