Control BB from iPad. Am I missing something?

So I can view my media from the iPad, send it to the Boxee Box, and it begins to stream almost instantly. That's awesome, and thanks!

But... I can't seem to find any controls on the iPad that would allow me to pause/stop/etc. Are there any?

EDIT - Please disregard the following. I just tried streaming a few other files, and all functions on the BB remote now seem to work as intended. No idea why it wasn't working earlier.

But #2... even more strange is I can pause and resume a stream on the BB with the remote, but no other options seem to available, including going back to the Home Screen via the Home button on the remote! Again, am I just missing something obvious or am I required to reset the BB in order to get back to the Home screen?

Yeah , I feel the same way.When i first heard about ipad app it was said it would be a remote and ipad transcode server as well.I hope the ipad app will be gething some updates soon.

This sounds like the issue I raised a while ago (BOXEE-7846 (http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-7846)) where the Boxee Box stops responding to all buttons except play/pause if playback is started when the screensaver is active. This has become more of an issue with the release of the iPad app.

The only ways of avoiding this at the moment is to either press a button on the remote to exit the screensaver before you start playing or to disable the screensaver in the Boxee Box settings.

Ahhh many thanks, StevenR. The problem appeared again last night and I do believe the screensaver was active at the time.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else experiences the issue of not being able to "send to Boxee" from the iPad after the screensaver is activated and then deactivated (via using the remote's back/menu button)?
