How does this work if your media is kept on a NAS? Presumably you need a PC/MAC running BMM to find the NAS and bridge content to the IPad app.

Any chance the BMM functionality will be ported to the Boxee itself? Meaning we wouldn't need a PC or MAC to be always on.

Android version coming?

edit to add a 4th Q: Linux version of BMM? That would let us run something like free NAS and BMM on one box, cut down on the number of "always on" devices.

Linux version of BMM? That would let us run something like free NAS and BMM on one box, cut down on the number of "always on" devices.

Most NAS devices don't have enough power to transcode most video for iPad streamig.

Note that BMM is for local media on the iPad only. All online video features (online Watch Later items, Friends, and Features) will play on the iPad directly (if compatible/allowed).
