Can't access videos when offline

I have a Macbook Pro. When I plug it into my television and access Boxee without being connected to the network it lets me login but shows my video library as blank.

When I connect to the network (either through wireless or through a router) I can see my video library again.

Why is this?

Sorry about this ..it's a bug :(..you should still be able to get to your local media even if you are offline ..we will fix this in future versions..

I have the same Problem. There is no workaround to fix this problem until a new release is out? I'm asking because i want to use boxee to watch videos this weekend and i have no internet there. And boxee is the only player that plays mkv without dropouts on my mbp.
