Hello all. New to Boxee. Looks promising.

I've properly pointed Boxee under "Media Sources and Applications" to my "iTunes Music" directory and my "Movies" directory. I only have 5 movies in the "Movies" dir and it seems to have found 4 initially and then the latter about 5 minutes later.

Nothing is populating my Boxee Music View by Artists but I can go to "Browse" and play music from there (but without artwork).

Couple of questions:
1. How long does scanning take of your drive?
2. Does Boxee use the embedded artwork in AAC/MP3 files?
3. Any way to force scan?

One thing that may be happening (I could be wrong) is that Boxee will not populate the Views unless the artwork populates the View first?

Version: 0.9.6.4578

1. a day-or-so, depending on the amount of content.
2. no... but it should in a future build.
3. not currently... short of erasing you entire library.

as for movies, see here: http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=1147

music is a different story... boxee does not currently use your own id3 tags, but will in a future build.
