Searching music?

Is it possibel to search for music in the music section? I have too much music to "cover" wihtout being able to search...?

For the moment there's no search function in Boxee. It's a much requested option though. Stay posted!

i agree, for me the music function is pretty much useless to be honest as a list of songs isnt intuitive enough to be useful. I really cant understand why sorting out the music function is so hard as many will agree that Windows media center, Itunes, Even front row all seem to have a usable implementation that reads ID3 properly and makes finding songs easy. Isnt it just a database?

the team have said they will switch to id3... boxee can already use id3; that's not the issue. they issue is they had made the choice not to use it, early on. (and for good reason.)

they have since said they will default to id3.

and, yes, all coding is hard. ;)
