boxee CPU usage

Is there anything that can be done to lower the cpu usage of boxee? it constantly is at 25-50%. while I am not trying to multi-task, it is making my MBP 2.5GHz C2D run at temperatures around 60 degrees and the fan is on full time.

i know the feeling... i used to have an mbp and it was burning a hole in my lap.
this is a known issue and we are working on improving the UI's performance (which is whats taking all the cpu).
