update :This thread is closed for the 3rd lot of alpha testers . thank you all! Please use this thread http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=4825if you would like to participate in the next group

boxee for Windows has just released the second version to over 300 early access users and will be sent to another few hundred in the coming days .

We kindly request that this version does not get sent from one user to another.

its still a very early version of boxee for the PC, which unlike Mac has a huge number of configurations, so its important for us to know who is using it, how, and what is the experience, without being overwhelmed.

if you wish to be included in the next batch of users, please fill in this form (http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=pof1Aez_gNtGbwtHFTUP6Sg)

we will process these requests as this version matures.

please fill in this form (http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=pof1Aez_gNtGbwtHFTUP6Sg)

thank you all,
the boxee team

I was a doofus and filled in the form yesterday, only to realize today that I had neglected to register on these forums. So please don't pass over me because of this :( We dropped cable tv a few months ago, but have since found both Hulu and Netflix to be ridiculously difficult to navigate on our 32".

don't you find it redundant to post your specs. here as well as filling in the form?

read the first post, it clearly explains to fill in the form, don't mean to be a troll, but if you don't fill in the form, don't expect to get Boxee.

just wait patiently, that's what I've been doing since I heard of Boxee.

I have been reading up on boxee over the past few days and it sounds great. I'd really love to give it a try. I just signed up with the form. I hope I get to try it soon. Thaanks.

As a side note, there didn't seem to be a good place to put it on the form, but for memory, although I have 4Gb, it is only addressing 3.5 of it due to XP being 32bit and my 0.5 Gb of video memory. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case it mattered.

Got my Windows alpha invite last week sometime for 9.7.4.825 . Just installed it and gave it a test drive. I like it. Needs more content, but I'm sure we will all figure out how and where to get it.

Just signed up to fill in that form - I really want to try this out.

I'm really trying to go all-(or as near as possible)-legal with my television viewing and this would be a great help. Thanks!

Wow, just installed and setup Boxee for Linux. Amazing! Simple, straightforward interface. I'm looking to setup a mega HTPC, and trying to decide between Linux and Windows. I'd love to be able to test out the Windows version too, since it's my basic HTPC right now, and the Linux system just browses the media shared to the network, and it has a poor video card, so i can't stream well to it. It would be also nice to compare the two. Can't wait!
