Playback pauses

I was wondering if anyone has pauses during playback of video with dvix or movie trailers. When I pick a trailer to watch the status bar at the bottom comes up with loading.... and the video starts when the status reaches the end. A few seconds later the video pauses and the status bar says loading... and starts again the video resumes when it reaches the end again. It does this over and over which is annoying. Front Row does the same thing. I was wondering if this is a problem I can fix or if it is a network speed issue. I can watch things on youtube and hulu channels without any problems. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running on MacBook Pro, OS X 10.5.6, 2.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM

Same issue with me when playing back HiDef content from a network drive. A copy of the same content on a local hard drive runs with out pauses.
Macmini core2 duo 2ghz 1gb of ram.
