Hello,
I just got an invite and I enjoyed playing around with Boxee so far. I love how it downloads pictures and information for all my TV shows and movies.
But I have some questions:
When browsing through "recently added" or the "main" video screen, everything is fine, I get all the info Boxee downloaded etc. (show summaries ...). Is there a way to get the same information when browsing a specific media source?
For example, I have all my TV shows structured in a folder hierarchy on an external hard drive. Is there an easy way to browse this media source without just looking at the folders and file names but similar to the when I click on a "recently added" show?
I have so many shows and movies, it takes forever to scroll through all the videos. The filter option also does not really help. Therefore I would really like to structure my media in folders like I did before and then use this structure within Boxee but also without using all the extra stuff Boxee provides over my old XBMC.

I hope I made my point understandable :)
Thanks for the great software!

I'm not entirely sure I understand, but you should be able to go to:
My Sources > [External Drive] > [Show Name] > [Show]

No?

That works, but I dont get all the information Boxee downloaded for the show, such as episode summary, when I select an item. When I use "My Sources" I also see the file name which I do not when I use Recently Added or the main Videos page.

When you are looking at media that isn't in your library you can try to manually ID it by hitting the (you best)recognize button.

The media is in the library though. Please read my first post.
For example, I have Lost / Season 1 / Episode 1 stored on one of my network drives. In the recently added screen, Lost shows up and when I select it I get to a screen where I can view the episode summaries, episodes are nicely sorted and so on.
However, when I directly go to the media source where the files are stored, I only see the folders and files without any additional information.
These are the same files though.
