Hi All, today I've installed version 0.9.6.4578 on my MacBook Pro and on my iMac. . . . I've a collection of some 120 DIVX movies placed on a Windhoze box. I've mapped this share to a local disk and added as a Local Source in Boxee. So far so good, the Movies show up after a while in the Video section.:p
However on both machines ! the counter stops at 35 movies  Is there some kind of limitation I missed????

Cheers Ed

no, no limit... have way more movies than that in boxee.

are both the installs stopping at the same movie?

Nope, they both have a different set of movies from the 120, go figure :( Maybe the approach of using a share is not the best way . . I'm new to boxee so not quite sure what the best way is. What I do know is that it picks up my subtitles and that's awesome :)
I was thinking of buying an Apple TV both this is way better! If I can get all my movies in there :)

sometimes erasing the library and starting again helps (setting>general) leave it parked overnight and see how it is in the morning ..you can also see the status of each share by selecting "A" key ..

Hmm, I deleted the Library and basically it just stops at the same number of movies. I've attached a screen of the process . . .

Thanks,
Ed

Have you tried manually recognizing the videos? If you goto Video - > Browse(used to be sources) and then select the source you're pulling from you can see a raw list of the files there.

Boxee doesn't index all my content for some reason (even after I do a recognize) but its not such a big issue for me to go this route to play videos when Boxee hasn't recognized it(and refused to)
