Boxee running really slow

Since the last update my Boxee has run very very slow. It takes several minutes to login, then several minutes to show recommendation, etc. Then several minutes if you click on hulu or netflix, or anything, then, when you click on a file to play, it goes to a white screen for a couple of minutes, then the black screen with loading comes up for about 10 minutes, then, it may play the movie (although most of the time I do not get that far, because it has already taken 10-20 minutes).

I tried looking to see if this problem has come up before, but have not seen it. It started with 9.5.4477 and continues with the current update. Worked fine before this.

Try running Activity monitor with Boxee in the background. Sometimes an App is slow because of something else going on in the background.

I did run boxee with activity monitor running, and nothing else is using much of anything. Boxee does jump around on the CPU usage, from 60% to about 10%, butnothing else even get above 2-3%.

Any other ideas what it could be? Thank you....
