Can't change Language on Boxee Box

Is there any reason why I do not see the first option "Language" to switch the boxee menus to italian (or other language) in the Language Settings as shown in http://boxee.zendesk.com/entries/325626-settings-general-language ?

My box was purchased in France and has all the UI only in english. The updates seem to run OK...

I'd like this option too, I'd like to be able to set it to English instead of the bastardisation that is American English.

I don't want my kids thinking you spell Favourite without the U

Is this an issue only in boxes sold in EU, or is this option absent in all boxee boxes????

I'm italian and i have the same problem. My Boxee Box interface is in english and i can't change it.
In Settings --> General --> Language, i don't have the first option "language".

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Only one question: I'm new to boxee box, when you talk about "firmware update", do you mean the Check for new version of boxee... option, under Setting --> System --> Update menu?
