I'm using a Logitech Harmony for all my devices and it works just fine...! Replaces all the other remotes, including the Apple Remote or the eyeTV remote and also lets you set up macros real easy...

I am just using the Apple Remote with RemoteBuddy. This makes it really simple to use just the AR with each of the apps mentioned.

Cheers,

I use all three - I have the Logitech remote but thats only b/c I'm controlling 4 devices
1) TV (42" 1080p monitor)
2) audio
3) lighting
4) Mac Mini

that said, 90% of what I'm doing could be done with the apple remote ... thats all my logictech is emulating to control the mini

We ditched fios TV in favor of the mini with boxee and eye TV and frontrow :D

with eye tv how many channels do you get without fios or comcast, I too would love to have no fios or comcast, but have 2 obstacles, 1 being a need for live sports (hockey!!) and 2 actual live tv needs, wife likes tlc,a&e and lifetime, she is also dvr happy. I have a 60 inch tv with a built in digital tuner, so what are my options? I dont use cables vod (usually sucks) and for sure would never pay $4.99 for a compressed movie, so...why do I have them? lol... I will say that I may switch to fios atleast for internet as comcast has put a 250gig monthly limit, why ? to combat exactly what i want to do get rid of their tv services, we watch tv atleast 5 hours a day here (5 people) so going over that limit with just internet tv would be easy, they also throttle my connection i notice.
