Hi everybody.

As you can tell from my sig I have this miraculous BB running, capable of bringing me True HD Video in amazing quality, but I miss the same for the audio. I just hooked up my old analog amp with normal speakers. Yes this means plain anlog Stereo :).
Before you skip reading disgusted, let me assure you : I plan to extend these audo capabilites.

My question ist :

Which audio setup works well with the BB (amp, speakers) and which one should I choose / which feature ist a "must have" in the amp. (I read about HDMI Repeater, optical fibre, DTS, Trued Dolby something ...)

In addition I ask for a comination of audio hardware that is payable ~300 Euros maybe.

I know that there is no "this one is exatly what you want" answer, but maybe you can just post your setup and hint me to a working combination especially which amp with which speakers ?

My local medias have Audio tracks in different forms. MediaInfo consulted :
(joint)Stereo mp3, AC3 and DTS

Thanks for reading.

Every new Pre-Amp/Processor or Receiver should have HDMI connections and support all the different audio formats, including Dolby Digital (AC3), DTS (DCA) and their HD equivalents.

I would think that for $300 Euros you will have plenty of choices. Pick a few and then go read reviews on audio/video-specific web sites.
