Volume control in Boxee has no control over actual sound

While playing video (ie - Netflix in the latest version released recently) if I turn up or down the volume the status indicator shows properly up or down in the upper right hand corner. But, regardless of what I do, the volume control in Boxee has no control over the actual volume up or down.

Which means I have to keep standing up and going to my audio system and turning it up or down. Geesh. :)

When I am watching Videos through Comedy Central, I have no control over the sound either using my Macbook's built in control sound control from within Boxee.

Furthermore, none of the functions work including pausing the video.

these are both known limitations... currently, there is no fix.
