Fix for ATV 2.3 Black screen crash

atvusb-creator-1.0.b10 has had a bug that's been causing Boxee and XBMC to freeze on a black screen at launch.

It seems to have been a very common problem and it's been said that a fix would be available today - 4th Dec. So here's a thread to let people now where and when it arrives.

So if anyone spots it, please update this thread.

O ok, that's comforting... cause I was going crazy with it last night (that is when I installed 2.3 on my ATV and patchsticked it for Boxee for the first time! :D

Secondly, I noticed it won't even let me ssh (via Terminal on my new MacBook Pro) - it's says timed out!?

And actually, I was able to update/download Boxee and XBMC software right on/from my ATV but later when it worked (just once) I was not able to lookup my Time Capsule (SMB mount) like I'm on MacBook Pro's Boxee - any thoughts??? Or it's just atvusb-creator-1.0.b10 is buggy?

So ..... did we get a fix. I just upgraded and it doesn't seem ok - black screen is here and not going away!!

update to launcher 0.9/2.3 if running appletv os 2.3.
