Would anyone know if it can play 3D in the future?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if this hardware can play 3D movies on your 3D tv? I know or think the firmware would have to be upgraded but is the Dlink hardware capable?

I can travel to the future, but everyone in the future is still waiting for updates from team Boxee... bA-ZING!!! I kid, I love the Boxee team but couldn't pass up this opportunity. My real answer: I have no idea.

I believe the HDMI output is only 1.3. Don't think they can reprogram the HDMI controller like Sony's PS3. You can do side by side or over under now, but maybe they could upgrade the player to support 120hz displays with 720p page flipped video or whatever the max is for HDMI 1.3.
