I keep getting a white, blank page trying to access google. Also, on Bing, a searchlist of Google hits come up as dead? Non-google links are live, the google one's are dead. Odd that. If I didn't know better, I'd say I'd time-warped into anti-net-neutrality world. Seriously though, are folks able to load up a google search or mail page? thx!

Maybe Bing is getting its own back!

Wow. I wonder where that's headed? I knew it was an issue, but hadn't read the complaint. Companies don't like their ranking on Google? What else is new? But imagine if google is thereby forced to reveal its beloved algorithms? That would be a collision-course with US corporate law. Ka-boom.

Odd! -- If you type in google.com in the web browser and click 'enter', googles' home page shows up but the pointer is no where to be found --- but if you choose the (search web for "google.com") underneath where you type in the URLs - differnt google links such as google news, google images, google pack shows as functional link to access

I got to the google page as well and did not get a pointer, but if you start typing the letters automatically show up in the google search bar. Although it is sort of a pain to navigate.

By the way, it's worth mentioning that if you have a link to a site in a shared drive, you can select that link in Boxee Box and it will open it in its browser (warts and all).

Good idea, so that will have to do for bookmarks until Boxee add them

I also see that scroll bars within a page do not show up, so there is no way to scroll through content within a page 'you tube' and many others.
At this point i wouldn't even call this thing a browser....
And to add to that the so called browser does not support the mouse wheel (scroll) function either.
If they fix the browser or throw mozilla in it, this thing would be golden...
Please fix this stuff first then look at bookmarks.

Thanks for the info, everybody, at least I know its not a local problem. Good idea on the links-on-share thing. That'll have to do until a proper fix comes along, I guess.

Does not work for all sites, (yahoo mail) also does not fix broken hypertext links or scrolling issue.
The whole reason i bought this was that DLINK told me there would be a fully functional browser, otherwise google's revue looked pretty good.

If this thing had a functional browser, i would be totally satisfied.

We are fixing the browser. I'd like to correct you on the scrollbar comment. If you move the mouse to the bottom of the screen and continue to hold, the page will scroll down.

HTTPS links broke in the recent firmware update, a fix will be included in the next update.

I agree. Not having to turn on the computer to check my e-mail was one of the reasons for buying into bb.

The only thing keeping this box alive now is NaviX. Everything else is half baked. And I wish they stop trying to kiss hulus ass so they can get Hulu+. Whoever wants to pay for commercial content anyways.

Have to find a way to get Hulu or make them block everyone so they have to relent and make them stop blocking everyone or stop the service altogether. NaviX is better anyways.

You are not understanding the issue,
This does not address the scrolling within a page, scrolling for menu's does not work. This is a major issue with the browser. (the browser will only scroll the entire page) The scroll buttons and sliders do not even show up for menu's.
Try scrolling through a favorites menu on you tube.

If the menu scrolling within the page and hyperlinks are fixed, this box would be sweet.
