navigating with the boxee remote just doesn't cut it for me.
I'd like preferably a wireless mouse with a pad under it built in I can rest on my lap

I think most any would work - I had an older Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard combo working - you may have to power down the BBox with the button the Box - plug the USB dongle into the BBox and then power up the BBox

PS - I had 7 devices going at once with the BBox using a 7 port USB Hub - the point here is using a hub allows for more USB devices to be used on the BBox - ie...you will only have one availabe port after setting up your wireless mouse

thanks, the wireless mouse/keyboard onto a hub sounds like the way to go

well I got a logitech wireless keyboard / mouse combo set and it works like a champ, so much easier to maneuver browser sites and click full screen buttons and the like :D

Hope your mouse venture works for you -- Over the last few months I've found myself reverting back to using the BBox's remote -- and I've used the Rii, the Lenovo N5901, a Dell MCE IR remote, a Giro-air/mouse and numerous wireless and wired mice

PLZ do let us know what you finally choose as your preffered navigation device :)

does the wireless mouse act like a computer mouse or is it sluggish? I pulled out an old wireless mouse and it is better then the remote but it was not as good as on a computer.

The wireless mice I tested many moons ago were very responsive - but that was quite few frmw versions ago, and I can't say how they might repsond today with the current frmw bcz as I mentioned, I'm quite content using the BBox's RF remote

I find it a struggle to move the arrow on it, I have a wireless mouse around somewhere I will give it a try.

It would be an idea to turn the iphone remote into a trackpad maybe?
