View Full Version : Overrride Recognize?

I have a few episodes of Battlestar Galactica season 4 on the network share that Boxee has indexed. It appears to have recognized all of the episodes correctly except for the first one (it thinks episode 1 is "Razor" when it should be "He That Believeth in Me".

How do I override this recognition? I have tried the "Wrong Video?" link which then asks for the series, season, and episode number which I enter as "Battlestar Galactica,4,1". It always picks the episode up as "Razor" though! Surely there is some way to manually tell Boxee the correct episode?

Note, www.thetvdb.com and www.tv.com both agree with me - Episode 1 is "He That Believeth in Me", not "Razor". :) Where is Boxee doing its lookup?

Anyone have an answer to this? I'm having the same issue. Love Boxee but the niggling issues with TV show recognintion/selection is just bugging me.

are you talking about bsg season 4... or show recognition in general?

Well me at least - I'd like a general way to override the detection... The BSG episode was just an example. There are a couple of other things it has detected incorrectly for me (can't think of another specific example at the moment, though).

there is no way to manually override them, right now... but it's one of the top two requested features.... so i'm sure the team will add it, in a future release.

the only option there is, right now, is the 'wrong video' option. but if that doesn't work, there isn't much else you can do. :(

How's the file called exactly.I'll check my Boxee to see if it was recognized correctly asap and let you know.
