Hello!
I have a boxee box, and I did not have this issue with the software on the computer. I am able to link my network folder to the movies just fine, but when I link my shows, it keeps saying "no local media yet". I figured maybe it just needed scanned, because of the size of my TV folder, so I gave it 24 hours, and still, nothing shows up under the folder...
I have the file set up in the following order...
TV-->Show-->Season-->Showname sxxexx-title
Any suggestions?

Remove source and re-add source again and hit rescan. A rescan starts about 4 minutes later. You can stay in local folders and watch it start and process. If nothing, restart box and is should scan the folder .
Are they all showing under "unresolved?" Look there to as they may not be named correctly.
Folders can be named anything. but the series should be as you stated:
Dexter S01E01.avi
Dexter S01E02.avi
Dexter S01E03.avi
etc etc etc

Scanning, isnt an issue, its scanning, and finding things, but when i go to shows, files, it keeps stating "no local media" even after the scan has been completed.
Everything is named as it should be...

So when go back to Local Sources to look at the indexing progress so far, what does it say? Does it say indexing? Or does it give a time stamp?
Are there any files under the Unidentified?

I got it to finally work. I guess by saying you have to have that dot in the naming convention they were serious...
Breaking.Bad.S01E01
This is going to be a long night...

None of my TV shows have dots in their file names, and they are all recognized. For example, "Reno 911 - S02E08 - Security for Kenny Rogers.mkv".
I added the year the show started to the folder name to "Melrose Place (1992)", since there are two shows with the same title. Try changing the folder name to include the year and see if that works.

You know what that helped! Thank you very much!
