View Full Version : Correct show info with incorrect cover art?

Anyone else running into the problem of having a correctly identified show with the wrong cover art?

All of the ID's for my local files are correct, but one is displaying the wrong cover art. Instead of having the artwork for Private Practice, it is showing up as the cover art for something called Penn Place, but the show info is correctly identified.

Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?

Possibly an IMDb issue? Have you tired to manually force it? It wrong file, do search for Private Practice and then select it manually? This was available in the Beta, not sure on 1.0

I see this too for the same show; was working fine until yesterday some time.

The place to report IMDB issues is here http://support.boxee.tv/entries/90018 -- use the form linked to on that page and report it as a Cover Art issue.

I am having that same issue... The cover art on IMDB looks right... Is there a way to force coverart with boxee box?

I have the same issue with several movies so I downloaded the correct cover art from IMDB and set up folder.jpg for them to force BB to use my art.

Like Ph8 mentioned, when automatic recognition leaves behind some unidentified files I sometimes (not always) get the job done via manual search (sometimes it works and sometimes it won't).
