Is there any way to zoom in the view of web pages with the boxee box browser? The browser seem very limited in functionality and text can barely be read with web pages fully zoomed out.

Also is there a way to search for a certain movie or show in the library instead of having to click through them all in A to Z mode. The search box searches the web.

Also in the browser how to you click on anything?

I finally figured if you hold down (for a long time) the d pad on the front you can move the mouse. But how do you select anything?

I tried a bunch of TV shows last night and moused over to full screen, but I kept clicking the center select button (and the enter button on the keyboard side) but was unabale to click on anything.

It's much easier to use a mouse or a different remote with a trackball or track pad on it - works fine for me in the browser - most content on sites has a 'full screen' button on them also

scottct1, did you allow time for it to load after clicking once? Maybe lag? If you did wait and it still doesn't work, then:

I believe I've seen some people report an issue with the positioning of the cursor and it's accuracy. They say that they move the cursor a few pixels or so away from a link or button (try all left, right, above, below), then select/click, and then it finally connects.

If this is the case, I think the easiest way to see if you have this problem (how much the cursor is off by) is to find a page with a text box and mouse over it. I believe a text box automatically gets highlighted/selected when the cursor goes over it.

Hi,

The zoom issue is a known problem and I hope that you'll notice a change in couple of releases.
Those of you with the mouse problem - can you send the screen definition (1080p/720p/..) and whether you have overscan defined or not?

Would like to view channels on 2 great websites. One for sports, The next for premium movie channel. The first is http://atdhe.net/index.html for sports. The next is http://tvweb360.com/ for movies.

Can anybody recommend a mouse?

I've always had laptops and have never bought one.

I think most any USB mouse should work - haven't heard of any that didn't - I've tried a wireless Logitech, a wired Dell, a Rii remote with trackpad and a Levovo remote w/track ball - buy one where they have an exchange policy, just in case

I don't use the BBox browser much but as a test I just spent some time accessing ABC, CBS, FOX, Google News and ComedyCentral .coms - I had no trouble pushing the pointer around with the BBox remote, accessing different Full Eps and making all of them full screen and reding a few different google news articles and backing out of them to click on a new one - But, on Comedy Central - it seemed to freeze just after accessing it and I had a hard time getting out of it -- so it seems some sites are an issue for the BBox browser (not sure if Boxee is to blame or the way some websites are set up)

4 out of 5 comprehensive sites worked just fine - Granted the browser doesn't respond as fast as we are used to on a PC - but it wasen't built for web surfing -- if you know what you want and where to go to get it, the browser serves it purpose just fine (at least for me)

And as mentioned in an earlier post - you can make the browser experience easier simply by adding a mouse to the BBox :)

]I use 1080p, and the problem I am experiencing is the cursor displays a bit above where the actual cursor seems to be. So I have to position it below whatever button I need to click on - this may be what they are experiencing. I did do the little overscan setup in the beginning.

Granted, this is an issue specific to this fan of Texas A&M athletics, but all of the football games are streamed to this sight. However, you have to have an account (which I have...it's free, which is a great deal). You obviously have to log into that account.

I can type in my account id and password, but I can't click the log in button. No log in = no content.

I can hit the site on my laptop via the boxee software, probably because I've already logged into the site via that laptop. I have to get my Boxee Box logged in but can't hit the log in button. Anyone have an idea why that is happening or have a workaround to propose?

I'd like to watch my Aggies beat texas again, and again, and again. Someone, please help!

By the way, I'm displaying on a 720p/1080i DLP TV off of my boxee box wired directly into my rounter with a cable modem. I'm not sure on my overscan setting.

Maybe this is the known secure login issue which is due to be fixed.

Not sure if this was the secure log in issue or not, but the 12/14 or 12/15 firmware push fixed the issue and the site runs perfectly now.
