Issues with scanning sources, etc, etc.

I cant get my music or any new movie sources to show up in their respective areas. When I look at the sources, I can see the folders I added, and they all say "Waiting to be scanned". I've tried removing and readding the sources, still does the same thing. It's set to daily scanning, but shouldnt it scan it once when its added?
Is there something I'm missing?

Side rant:
-Holy crap the Youtube "Leanback" app is the worst thing ever.
-Getting access to shares without this username\password thing would be nice.
-One visualization?
-If I have 400 movies in a folder and I stay there and get all the posters loaded, then go back a screen and then back into the movies, it has to reload every movie poster over again and take another hour? Seriously? (If I ever get my music to show, itll be even worse)

i believe boxee will only scan when nothing else is going on.

1) Leave the box switched on and on the home screen.
2) Wait a while.
3) repost here when that doesn't work. ;)

I actually think the lean-back thing, works pretty well. But I have a 47" screen, that I sit less than 8' from.

The passords problem, can be resolved, through your settings on your OS.

Yah...no milkdrop, or other visualizations was really not cool. And, I can't get my music to show up either. But I got my movies to show up.

If anybody figures out how to get album/artist art for browsing music...I'd really like to know. The identified files, aren't showing up. "No music yet" shows up instead.

I left it on at the home screen all night last night, checked this morning, still says "Waiting to be scanned".
