This might be a rookie question but I'll ask anyway: I have all of my movies and tv shows in itunes. iTunes puts the movies in the /movies folder and TV shows in the /TV Shows folder. Boxee, upon scanning the NAS where my library resides, lumped them all under Movies. There's also a weird "Movies" folder mixed in with the rest of my movies that when you click on it brings up two random otherwise perfectly tagged movies that are in the same folder as everything else.

I guess my question is: how do i get Boxee to put the video files in the /TV Shows folder in my iTunes library under TV and not Movies?

Thanks.

For whate it's worth I'm running a 2.0 GHz Mac Mini w/ 3GB of RAM w/ an aftermarket Quickertek 802.11n wireless card connected to a D-Link router and a ReadyNAS NV+. All software is current.

I have some of the same questions. Is there something that needs to be done in order for Boxee to file TV shows as TV shows within the menu? Perhaps something in the files tags?

Thanks.

I'm not sure about iTunes, as it names the files for you, there might be a hack for this based on what you name the show in the "Name" field. Otherwise, TV Shows should be in folders like this:

/Show Name/Season x(season number)/s01e01.mp4(or whatever the extension is). All of mine are set up that way, with no problems.

Back to iTunes, if you try the s01e01 name, rather than the actual episode title, that might work.

For the moment Boxee does not "respect" the iTunes way of organizing your files. Better have your movies and series in different folders and have each tv series in a different folder as well. Search the forum for more info on how to, there's loads of info on this issue.
