Setup: Sony Bravia TV, 2010 Mac Mini w/ HDMI out, Boxee, Logitech Harmony 650 Remote.
I want to map the Logitech Remote to process the following keys for the Mac:
Select
Back/Escape
Play
Pause
Stop
Menu/Shortcuts
Up/Down/Left/Right Directions
However, I have been unable to this point to find an effective way of doing this. I did stumble upon a way using Remote Buddy and "10" Apple Remotes (just one with different ID's) but I don't own a remote and, after purchasing a $700 HTPC, would rather cut off the spending unless I have no other choice. Is there a simple, step-by-step instruction on how to map these keys?
I've been doing the interweb search for a while and came up with very little useful information. I was hoping to get a straight answer here.

Ok, I'm in the process of getting it to work using the following instructions:

I'd say only about 20% of the buttons work properly before installing Remote Buddy. Gonna hit that tonight and report back if this works. Someone really needs to add this to the FAQs, it's the one thing that makes Plex FAR superior to Boxee, even though Boxee has a better interface, a better use of local files, better apps (especially Netflix & Pandora).

I am going through the same blog/tutorial as well and have noticed all the play/pause/stop/fastforward/rewind buttons all do not function properly in Boxee. I tried opening up Remote Buddy and creating a custom Behavior for each of the buttons and mapping them. (like in EP3 and 4 on the blog: Make a new Group/Title called "Mini Harmony" , "Fast Forward"...for example. Then click it as a "make this global" and then click on "Implementation" and add a behavior, then I selected behavior, Activate Boxee Behavior. Then on my Mappings, I used the chart to find that AR154, Down is that behavior. So Find the "down" selection under the AR154 group and select Miscellaneous, Fast Forward [Mini Harmony].
This did not work as expected, but I think I'm on the right track. I'm still doing my research, but thought I'd share in case someone else could fill in some of the gaps. I'm finding some posts about people talking about "keymaps" and stuff, but I'm not 100% how to do this or find that yet. This forum is a big help, but keep in mind it is for Plex nor Boxee, so it is similar but now 100% the same:

Let me know what you find. I'll be very very happy if I can just get these basic buttons working on my Harmony 1000.

looks like in boxee you can only map fastfoward (4), rewind (3), play/pause (ok). You just don't have the option to map anything else that i've found. Those numbers in the () mean that's what you map that hardbutton to in the Harmony software. If you set up your Harmony remote like Nuno had set up (as a plex Media Center PC) those are the button mappings that will work.
