Will there be any type of internal sensor to let the remote know when the keyboard is facing up?
Otherwise what is to prevent unwanted keystrokes to be entered accidentally?

ie: If you are holding the remote like a standard remote control, using your thumb to navigate, will your fingers (on the bottom of the remote) be able to click the keyboard keys?

Just curious...

hopefully, but for me I think the best way is to just make a flap for it, because it's not nice holding it I think.

I saw a video a while back where one of the Boxee team members was demo'ing the Boxee remote and he mentioned that the keys on the remote take a little extra pressure to engage and the remote was designed this way so no keys are accidentally pressed when using the opposite side of the remote - I guess we'll see soon just how pressure sensative they really are

I personally used the boxee box (a demo unit) for a few days and the remote seems to work pretty well; (2 sides of remote, simple/qwerty) the simple side of remote is very easy to use however the orientation of top/bottom was an issue for me in the beginning since the buttons are placed dead center, the only identifier is the boxee logo at bottom which tells you the orientation, the good thing is that the boxee logo is embossed.. so, there are times that I was holding it upside down... but really not a big deal, since you'll get use it in no time.

as per the qwerty keyboard, you will require some pressure to trigger them so pressing them by accident is less likely to occur...
