Hi guys! I use boxee with an Apple TV and a LCD 32" in my own Bar and It's really great! Customers love it!
What I need to do is control boxee with a MacBook in the same network; I know I can do it with an iPhone but It could be easier and faster for me use my mac that I already have behind the bar.
Is It possible to do that? Is there any "remote application" for this issue?
Thanks for your help ;-)

I have used the boxee web remote (http://code.google.com/p/boxee-web-remote/) by jeffehobbs and it works great!

How can I find the AppleTV in the Finder to add the folder that I downloaded?
Thanks again!

Opps sorry, I'm not an Apple TV owner. Now that I think about it(and not knowing the Apple TV) this may not be possible. I have only done this in a Windows/Linux environment. I do know that all that needs to be done is to put the 'web' folder in the Boxee directory, enable the webserver (http://boxee.zendesk.com/entries/192003-settings-network) (Settings > Network > Servers) in Boxee, then go to the PC you would like to control Boxee from and enter the web address, such as: http://boxee.local:8800/ or http://x.x.x.x:8800/. See the Installations (http://code.google.com/p/boxee-web-remote/wiki/Installation) for more information.

Maybe someone who knows Apple TV can help out here.

You can use an app like cyberduck, fugu to access your ATV (assuming ssh was enabled during patchstick update). Second choice is to SSH in and unix your way to it. However unless you enable AFP, SMB within your atv, you can not simply access it like any other share. You need to have a valid recovery.dmg in your frontrow/documents folder and run Smart Installer with Nito and then enable SMB and/afp.

Here is a Mac Boxee Remote Widget (http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/movie_tv/boxeeremote.html) that may interest you since you are using a Mac. It will have the same install issues on the Apple TV as the one above, but it will look more at home with your Mac-Apple TV-Boxee setup.

As for me,i prefer use ActyMac DutyWatch Remote (http://www.actymac.com/dutywatch_remote/).It’s prog for remote computer monitoring from iPhone.
